Welcome to the New Home of the
Georgia Gang Investigators Association!
The Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA), was founded in 1998, as the organization to combat the uprising of gang violence in Georgia. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we assist with training not only to law enforcement personnel, but schools, students, District Attorney's Offices, and Citizens of this great State.
The purpose of the GGIA is to promote a free exchange of intelligence and information among investigators, with the goal of effectively impacting on the level of gang related violence perpetrated by criminal groups, whose actions affect and constitute a threat to public order.
A Message From The President
I, along with the Board of Directors, would like to welcome you to the Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) and our new website. GGIA continues to provide the most up to date information about gangs in our communities to members of our association. Since 1998, GGIA has been a staple in the law enforcement community throughout the state of Georgia. As we continue to grow as an association, GGIA continuously improves our ability to provide the most up-to-date training for law enforcement, educators, community leaders and citizens. GGIA generates contacts among the law enforcement community, and others to share pertained information among each other. In this fast paced, technological savvy society nothing will ever replace the personal relationships and friendships that are developed through this organization. I look forward to the future of this celebrated organization and the work we can all do together.
Jose E. Diaz, President
